Writer's Block: Your own toy story
Did you have a favorite stuffed animal, action figure, or doll growing up? If so, what was it and what happened to it?

I had a stuffed clown, which I've had since I can remember. My mom tried to sell it in a garage sell once, but I saved it before anybody bought it. So far as I know, it's still in a box in the garage.

Writer's Block: Practically amazing
If you could have a power that helps you with day-to-day living, like the ability to always get a seat on the bus, what would choose, and why?

I would choose, the ability to fix anything mechanical or electrical. That way, I would never need a repair man.

Which book do you find yourself regularly rereading, and why?

This is going to be a very short answer.... Memiors of a Geisha, because it is the best book I have ever read. Also, the whole Harry Potter series, because they are, collectively, the second best books I have ever read.

Writer's Block: Apocalypse now?
It's the beginning of the end, according to Harold Camping. How will you spend what could be your last day on Earth?

Well, today I am visiting my family, as I often do. Not because this is supposedly the last day of the earth, (I'm quite certain I will wake up tomorrow.) but because I wanted to see them. Later today I am going to the store with my Master to pick up some things he needs, and get a haircut. Business as usual.

Writer's Block: You've got the look
Which item in your wardrobe would shock the fashion police? Do you wear it in public?

I probably have several items that would "shock the fashion police". I do try to look decent when I go into public, but around the house, I really don't care how I look. I think the worst thing in my wardrobe is a vest I got several christmas' ago. It is bright red flannel, with penguins on it. Looks like it came right out of the 70's. I haven't worn it once. It was given to me because I love penguins. lol

Would you want your city to outlaw smoking on public streets? Why or why not?

First of all, I don't smoke. On the one hand, it always makes me wrinkle my nose to come within smelling distance of anybody smoking, even outside. I always kinda wish they wouldn't. However, I think there is a limit to how much we should restrict people. If they want to slowly kill them selves, then by all means, do it. Survival of the fittest, right? I agree with not letting people smoke within however many feet of a door, or not on the property of hospitals, doctors offices, etc... Recently, however, I have heard stories about people having to fight for their right to smoke, even on their own property. THAT is wrong. In my opinion, I think once you own property, you should have the right to do whatever you want, within reason, on your property. As for public streets, it's not like the smoke is in an enclosed space. It is floating off, dissipating away. Whatever small amounts of second hand smoke us non-smokers inhale from that is most likely no more harmful, or even less harmful, than the stuff that comes out the exhaust pipes in our cars. So, in short, no, I do not think my city should outlaw smoking on public streets, so long as it isn't so close to a door, that it could drift inside a building.

Do you think video games will still be popular in 15 years? How do you think they'll change?

I have always thought that video games are moving toward feeling more and more real. I think, in the future, they might have a blank, totally white room, with a projector in it, that would project the game scenery into the room, so you'd feel like you're actually there. It would be able to detect every move you make. The floor of the room would be like a treadmill that can move in any direction, so you could walk and walk and explore. It could even come with props, for fighting games, like a fake sword, or gun, or bow and arrow, that would be weighted like the real thing, so you'd feel like you were actually swinging a sword, etc...

If you could design your own planet, what would it look like and who would live there? Describe the colors, the creatures, and the culture.

I think, for starters, my planet would be round, since that seems to be a popular shape for planets. And it would be very green. It might look something like pandora, with glowing plants. The whole planet would be full of nature, and the society there would be similar to the native american culture. They would respect the planet, and nature, and all other living creatures. And weed would definitely grow there! It would be socially acceptable to smoke it. And willing slavery would also be socially acceptable, but not required. People would be encouraged to accept one another, instead of always judging each other.

What was the first video or computer game you ever played? Did you love it or hate it, and why?

It was Donkey Kong, on a Super Nintendo a friend of my parents had. The following Christmas, my parents got my brother and I a Super Nintendo that came with Super Mario Bros., and Donkey Kong. I loved them both! To this day, I love those two video games. Especially Donkey Kong. I can't really explain why, except that it has a really awesome story line, and it's a lot of fun, the whole way through, and very challenging.

Writer's Block: It's cold outside
I live in Minnesota, so it's funny to hear people in places like California complaining about the cold. What temperature is too cold for you?

I live in Texas. If I'm indoors, I get too cold in the lower 70's. Outdoors, I feel cold when it get's into the 60's. I don't REALLY start complaining until it's into the lower 50's or 40's. On the other hand, I start feeling too hot once it gets into the upper 80's. I just can't be pleased.
